Attachment theory, developed by Bowlby and Ainsworth, focuses on early emotional bonds, examining how secure attachments contribute to emotional well-being and how therapists can address attachment-related issues to enhance interpersonal connections.

CBT, founded by Beck and Ellis, targets dysfunctional thought patterns and behaviors through collaborative interventions. It empowers clients to challenge negative thoughts, develop coping strategies, and foster adaptive behaviors for effective treatment of conditions like anxiety and depression.

Cross-cultural therapy recognizes cultural influences on mental health, striving to create a culturally sensitive therapeutic environment. Therapists integrate cultural competence to bridge understanding gaps, ensuring respectful and inclusive therapy tailored to the client’s cultural background.

Rooted in Freud’s ideas, psychodynamic therapy explores the unconscious mind’s role in shaping behavior. Therapists aim to help clients gain insight into unconscious processes, understand the impact of past experiences, and work through unresolved conflicts to foster personal growth.
